This stunning course was recently redesigned by leading golf architect Beau Welling, alongside Ryder Cup–winning captain Paul McGinley – and with an investment of almost €10 million, this five–star course will not disappoint. It has been created to be approachable for all abilities, with four sets of tees on each hole, and has already been established as the new jewel in the crown of Quinta do Lago’s golf family.

The south Course

The South Course boasts an amazing heritage, having played host to the Portuguese Open almost 10 times. Created in 1974, it remains one of the flagship courses on the European Tour. With stunning views over the National Park and a series of lakes, pine groves and wildflowers, this par 72 course is quite simply a joy on which to play.

Laranjal
Originally an orange grove, this beautiful course was launched in 2009 and takes in some spectacular scenery. A par 72 course, it is quite challenging, with a rolling terrain and a series of lakes. Cork, orange and pine trees surround the fairways, which are sown with Bermuda Grass to guarantee excellent surfaces all year round.
