What are the Biggest Algarve Tourist Attractions?
The Algarve is home to some of the most beautiful beaches, breathtaking sites and unbeatable family entertainment. As a family business, we have spent many vacations exploring the Algarve and have found some of our favourite tourist attractions along the way.
So, whether you want to immerse yourself in some culture, or whether you want to spend the day laughing, we have made a fes suggestions of what we feel are some of the biggest Algarve tourist attractions.
Loule Gypsy Market:
The gypsy market in Loule is famous for its bright colours, beautiful fragrances and vibrant atmosphere. This is held every saturday at the end of Rua ad Nossa Senhora de Piedade, so if you’re in the area, we would recommend checking it out!
As well as this, there is a market that is held in the Arabian style market hall on Prace de Republica which is equally as fantastic. For unusual gifts and to soak up the culture of Portugal, this is the perfect place to begin!
Dolphin Watching:
Dolphin watching is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable tourist attractions in the Algarve. With the dolphin season beginning at the end of March and ending at the beginning of November, you can enjoy this experience all Summer long.
This is the perfect activity for animal lovers and families and is often paired with a tour of the beautiful age-old coastal caves. If you want to discover the true heart of the Golden Triangle, then this experience is definitely one to consider.
The Royal:
The Royal is a magnificent golf course situated in Vale do Lobo. This course combines the perfect conditions for a spectacular game and also offers cliff-top views, as well as the world-famous carry-over.
This is a bridge that merges two cliff top golf courses together.If you are a golf fanatic and appreciate beautiful scenery, then this is the perfect tourist attraction to try.
Horse Riding at Praia De Garro:
Praia De Garro is one of the Algarve’s most breathtaking blue flag beaches. Also known as Julias beach, this is a truly breathtakingly natural beach, which has been unspoiled by tourism and people.
This is the perfect location to go for a horse rise in such an elegant and beautiful setting. As well as this, you can also choose from a number of different water activities, swimming and snorkeling. As well as this, you can also dine in some of Portugal’s most fabulous beach-side restaurants, where you can sample some of the best freshly-prepared seafood.
