At Encosta do Lago, as part of Quinta do Lago, the lake and miles of golden beach are just a few minutes’ walk away. Some of the finest sports and leisure facilities are yours to enjoy and of course, there is the superb golf for which this most exclusive of southern European resorts is renowned.
Choose the apartment for you, roomy and comfortably appointed to the highest standard. They all have large terraces, gardens and/or their own private pool.
Live it up at the palm-fringed swimming pool and bar, or dine in high style at Tucano’s. With a gym, sauna, massage and beauty spa, this is a dream location available to just the select few.
Those on the ground floor have either a garden or some also with heated private pool and a spacious balcony on the first floor.
The two-bedroom apartments are suitable for up to 4 adults (main bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom with two single beds).
The three-bedroom apartments are suitable for up to 6 adults, (suite with a double bed, second bedroom either with a double or two single beds and the third bedroom with two single beds).
Some of the extras included for your holiday: Free welcome drink at the Tucanos pool bar, a luscious welcome basket with fruit and yummy goodies, Moulton Brown Toiletries for all bathrooms, air conditioning throughout the property, Wi-Fi internet access in the property and around the pool, excellent selection of TV programs for all, TV in living rooms, access to the onsite gymnasium, access to the tennis courts, free use of wellness facilities including the pool, gym & sauna, free pool towels and bath robes, daily maid service 6 days a week, regular change of bedding and towels and to top it off every day in summer we will deliver fresh bread rolls to your door!

The Area:A luxurious resort located within the exclusive and very much sought after Quinta do Lago in the Golden Triangle, Encosta do Lago is equipped with a restaurant, a gym, communal pool, tennis court and poolside bar/restaurant. Quinta do Lago is a popular destination for those seeking privacy and is also a favourite with many celebrities and sportspeople. In a beautiful setting beside the Ria Formosa bird sanctuary, you have all you need for luxury and sophistication that you would want for your holiday. Build along 6 main roundabouts the main entrance is where you will find Quinta shopping, full of beautiful boutiques, restaurants and some very popular bars. Within the resort, there are lots of fine dining restaurants and golden sandy beaches hosting some fantastic beach bars/restaurants. Enjoy a bike ride along the lake and onto the Ria Formosa salt plains whilst taking in the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Also by the lake, you will find the very popular bar/restaurant ‘The Shack’ where you can spend the afternoon drinking cocktails and/or get on with some exciting Watersports on the lake, then simply relax on the man-made beach by The Shack. Spend a relaxing day on the beach at ‘Praia de Garrao and Prais Ancao’ where you are certain to be among the jet-set soaking up the sun on this fabulous sandy beach! During the summer enjoy one of the famous ‘Picnics in the Park’ by Koko lane on the Clubhouse green where you are treated to live music and entertainment whilst having a traditional picnic. If you are the sporty type you will be impressed by the recently constructed complex called ‘The Campus’ where you can play numerous sports including tennis, football, swimming, padel or maybe use the Gym. With Vale do Lobo and Dunas Douradas close by there is lots to do and see for everyone.
Activities close by include tennis, crazy golf, golf, Watersports (sea and lake), horse riding, go-carting and Jeep safaris.
There is a supermarket at the entrance to Quinta do Lago (Quinta Shopping), however for ease why not use the English supermarket online delivery service instead!
