Using fresh ingredients to create the creative and contemporary menu, this is certainly worth the trip.

This little gem of a bar is the perfect location to take in the sunset. Sal Rosa offers a terrace area with beautiful views of the beaches. Whether you’re just looking for a drink or a mixture of local tapas, despite the amazing location, it won’t break the bank. It can get busy in the evenings so try to get there as early as possible. For cocktails, wine, beer and spirits, you can’t find a better spot.
See The Landmarks
Just a short walk from the Old Town Square are the Albufeira Igreja Matriz and the Church of Sant’Ana. These are must see landmarks that are simply stunning. The Church is an outstanding white building that contrasts beautifully to the bright sky. The Albufeira Igreja Matriz is a Roman Catholic Church, which can be a lovely refuge on a warm day. It is very well kept, but can get very busy for Sunday mass so if you want to avoid the crowds, stay away on Sunday mornings.
Take Part in Some Retail Therapy
Near the central square there are so many shopping options, from souvenir shops, to handmade trinkets and food shops. For something more unique, visit one of the most beautiful and picturesque markets which is the Albufeira Weekly Market.
It’s on the first and third Tuesday of every month, and during the warm season, it is all the more special as the choice of fruit and vegetables is amazing, as well as shoes and clothes being on offer at a much cheaper price than many shopping centres.
